As Practice Manager, Sarah oversees the daily operations of Island Life Animal Hospital, ensuring our team has everything they need to provide exceptional patient care and client service. Her responsibilities include prioritizing patient care with our medical teams, organizational management, inventory control, staff scheduling, client communication, protocol enforcement, regulatory compliance, and working directly with our doctors to maintain a smooth, efficient workflow. Sarah plays a key role in upholding the hospital’s high standards of care while fostering a positive, collaborative environment for the entire team.
Sarah is passionate about cultivating a workplace culture where veterinary professionals feel supported and empowered—and where owners feel confident in the care their pets receive. What she loves most about Island Life Animal Hospital is its close-knit team, compassionate clients, and the shared commitment to nurturing the human-animal bond.
Originally from Missouri and now enjoying life in the Sunshine State, Sarah leads an active lifestyle filled with hiking, biking, and scuba diving. She shares life’s adventures with her husband and their two beloved dogs.
Debbie
Hospital Administrator
In addition to her veterinary background, Debbie has been a certified EMT for 25 years, showcasing her exceptional capacity to care for both animals and people. As Hospital Administrator, Debbie supports the administrative operations of Island Life Animal Hospital alongside the founders, collaborates closely with the Practice Manager, and supports our front desk operations. Her professional interests include team building and ensuring that everyone she works with has the tools and support they need to thrive. She’s known for her outstanding leadership, deep compassion, and love for the veterinary field.
Debbie’s favorite part of working at Island Life Animal Hospital is witnessing each client’s genuine love for their pets and supporting the human-animal bond. She loves coming to work every day and being part of a team that shares her dedication.
Debbie is a proud mother of two daughters and adores her role as a grandmother to three grandchildren. She also enjoys cruising—some of her favorite destinations include the Caribbean, Nova Scotia, with aspirations of visiting Alaska and Hawaii next.

Meagan
Customer Service Specialist
Her experience, kindness, and warm demeanor is a huge asset to our hospital’s Client Care Team. Meagan feels that being a part of our start-up veterinary practice was very exciting and enjoys meeting new pet families. She notes that a favorite part of working front reception is getting to know the clients on a personal level and watching their pets grow throughout the years. She also enjoys being a part of a dynamic team environment that is very close and family-oriented.
Meagan loves spending time with her husband and raising two young boys. They enjoy spending time as a family at the beach, being outdoors, and paddling Florida’s beautiful rivers and waterways in kayaks or canoes.
Jack
Customer Service Specialist/Certified Veterinary Technician
Jack’s favorite part of working in veterinary medicine is helping clients feel confident and fulfilled in the care their pets receive. Known for compassionate communication and a calm presence, Jack plays a key role in ensuring that every visit is a positive one for both pets and their people.
At Island Life Animal Hospital, Jack enjoys working with a supportive, dedicated team that values good work and exceptional care every day.
When not at the hospital, Jack can be found skateboarding, swimming, exploring the outdoors, or trying new food spots around town.
Alexa
Certified Veterinary Technician
Alexa is a Certified Veterinary Technician with a strong professional focus on pet dentistry and anesthesia, playing an essential role in supporting our surgical team. She is passionate about helping animals heal and finds great fulfillment in making a positive difference in the lives of pets and their families.
What Alexa loves most about Island Life Animal Hospital is the welcoming environment and the uplifting attitudes shared by her teammates. Outside of work, you’ll find her reading and cuddling with her four beloved cats—Jack, Ash, Cole, and Ranni.
Chantal
Certified Veterinary Technician
Chantal is especially passionate about client education and animal behavior. She loves having the opportunity to advocate for animals and play a role in improving their quality of life through compassionate care. At Island Life Animal Hospital, Chantal values being part of a knowledgeable and caring team that is deeply committed to delivering high-quality patient care.
For activities, Chantal enjoys Florida’s great outdoors, beach days, and nature trails with her dogs. She shares her home with two Chihuahuas named Chicken and Charlie, as well as two cats, Saleen and Salem.
