Meet Our Support Staff


Customer Service Specialist

A Florida native, Meagan has been involved in the pet care industry for close to a decade working in the capacity of veterinary reception and doggy daycare. As our lead Customer Service Specialist, Meagan is our main point of contact when pet owners call or enter our animal hospital. Her experience, kindness, and warm demeanor is a huge asset to our team at Island Life Animal Hospital. She notes that a favorite part of working front reception is getting to know the clients on a personal level and watching their pets grow throughout the years. As an original team member of Island Life Animal Hospital, Meagan feels that being a part of our start-up veterinary practice is very exciting. She also enjoys being a part of a team environment that is very close and family-oriented. Meagan loves spending time with her husband, raising two young boys, and spending time as a family at the beach, being outdoors ,and paddling Florida’s beautiful rivers and waterways in kayaks or canoes.


Veterinary Technician

Raised in Atlanta, GA, Morgan brings over 6 years of experience to Island Life Animal Hospital enjoying her passion being a Veterinary Technician. As part of the veterinary care team, Morgan works directly with pet owners and our patients supporting our doctors in the exam room, treatment area, and with surgeries, and dental procedures. As an original team member at Island Life Animal Hospital, Morgan notes, “It’s exciting to be a part of a team that is creating a hospital that is a meaningful part of the pet community in St. Petersburg.” She also adds that she loves meeting clients and caring for so many pet patients. Her technical interests include cytology, diagnostics, and being a surgical assistant to our veterinarians. Morgan enjoys spending time at home with her husband and three dogs. In her free time, Morgan also enjoys cooking, biking, and beach time around our local areas.


Veterinary Technician

Originally from Rockford, MI, Madison migrated to the St. Petersburg area to attain her Bachelors of Science degree from Eckerd College in Environmental Studies. With a lifelong interest in caring for animals and the natural world, Madison has a special interest in Wildlife Rehabilitation. With experience in the veterinary industry and also working with a major guide dog organization, she enjoys connecting with clients as a Veterinary Technician which includes supporting the bond between pets and their humans at Island Life Animal Hospital. Madison is also another one of our valuable an original team members and has a special professional interest in working with pet owners in the exam and diagnostics. Madison states, “I am excited to grow and develop as a team and be a part of this wonderful community.” She also likes to spend her free time in the St. Pete area swimming, going to the beach, walking at nature preserves, and bird watching. Madison’s pet family includes a handsome Pit Bull mix named Squid and three lovable pet rats.
